Meet Keri – Award-Winning Golf Coach
Keri was named the 2023 PGA of Canada Coach of the Year, PGA of BC Coach of the Year, and Cascade Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year—a testament to her dedication and impact in the sport.
Her coaching journey began in gymnastics, where she transitioned from athlete to coaching a competitive team at her local club. That early passion for coaching carried over to golf, and just days after turning professional, she taught her first lesson—she was hooked.
Keri’s first full-time teaching role was at Westwood Plateau Golf Academy, followed by her position as Director of Instruction at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club, where she and her team built a thriving academy. She later joined British Columbia Golf, leading provincial training camps and coaching Team BC at Canadian Junior Girls’ Championships and the BC Summer Games. In 2023, she was selected to coach Team Canada at the FISU University Golf Championships in Turin, Italy.
For 15 seasons, Keri served as Assistant Coach for the UBC Women’s Golf Team. During the 2021-22 season, the team made history, winning all 12 tournaments, including the NAIA National Championship and Golf Canada’s College/University Championship. That year, nine of her players also claimed individual titles.
Keri attributes her success to the incredible people she has worked with, believing that "to be great, you need to surround yourself with great people." She has had the privilege of learning from some of Canada’s top coaches, further shaping her approach to the game.
Her accolades also include the 2019 Lower Mainland Regional PGA of BC Coach of the Year and 2011 PGA of BC Teacher of the Year.
Based in Richmond, British Columbia, Keri is available for coaching and lessons.
